Leonardo Junqueira has more than 10 years’ experience in Finance leading positions. His experience includes a position as CFO/Deputy CFO during an IPO and a Private Placement processes, including responsibilities related to investor relations and post-implementation. He also occupied the role of Financial Controller of a 1,5 Billion $ Canadian project (funded through two projects finance) reporting directly to local general manager, and a temporary position in Repsol Headquarters (Spain) with the role as CFO Americas (LAM and T&T) from December 2015 to March 2016.
He is a civil engineer graduated at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, has a Master in Finance Derivatives and Capital Markets (Pontificia Universidade Católica – IAG/PUC RJ – Brazil) and an MBA in “Economía y gestión de las empresas de energía” (IESE, Universidad de Navarra, Instituto Superior de la Energía – Madrid/Spain).
Since April 2016 he occupies the role of CEO Brazil for Repsol Sinopec.

In charge for four years of accompanying IFP’s oil and gas, petrochemical and powertrain industry clients in developing and maintaining the professional skills of their personnel to the highest industry standard. Prior to that position, Karnik has been the Dean of IFP School from 2000 to 2011, that offers graduate programs, providing students and young professionals from all over the world with education in the fields of energy. In these two positions, has contributed to the development of talent in the oil and gas sector, with 600 new graduates annually and over 15 000 professionals from 80 countries being trained every year. He holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Nancy and a master’s degree in petroleum economics from IFP School.

Ivan Almeida was born in Luanda, Angola. He is a geologist and has a master’s degree in Geo Sciences at the University of Indiana, USA (1998). He began his career in Exploration at Sonangol, Angola. In 1999 he joined ExxonMobil as Geologist of Operations, where he acted in a great variety of campaigns throughout the world, in countries such as Angola, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, Chade, Russia, Norway, Trinidad and Tobago and Australia. At the American oil company, Almeida occupied several positions (technical and managerial), among them Operations Supervisor, Development Projects Modeling and Interpretation Supervisor and New Projects Director. He now occupies the position of Operations Manager at ExxonMobil in Brazil.

Founding Partner at Gávea Investimentos, a Brazilian company, and ex-president of Brazilian Central Bank, Armínio Fraga is one of the most acclaimed economists from the country. Your experience includes BM&FBovespa, Soros Fund Management, in New York, among others. Ph.D in economics for Princeton University (1985), Fraga has graduate and post-graduate degrees at PUC (Brazil).

Matheus Nogueira is a Managing Director of Accenture Strategy Energy, currently leading the practice in the Southern Cone, advising clients in strategy, business development, organization structuring and operational performance improvements.

Prior to joining Accenture, Matheus was a Vice President of the Schlumberger Business Consulting (SBC) office in Rio de Janeiro, being one of the key contributors to its growth to one of the leading consultancies in Upstream O&G.

Before joining SBC, Matheus had a 10 year professional career in Schlumberger, having held key management positions in Brazil, the United States, Argentina and France. During this time he also received the Schlumberger Inventor Award in 2006 for developing a patent solution in fluid sampling widely adopted by the industry worldwide.
