RIO OIL & GAS 2018

In its 19th edition, Rio Oil & Gas had more than 42 thousand visitors, who participated in about 1,000 presentations of content in the various sessions, forums and arenas, as well as visits to the booths of 480 exhibiting brands, which generated business and future investments.
The innovations implemented in this edition, such as: the introduction of several parallel events that attracted new tribes to the event and the expansion of congress content for cross-cutting issues were well-received.
A positive climate of growth, a sense of progress and dynamism was clearly perceived at the event and the resumption of the sector was present in every detail.
For the future, we can estimate the production of 6.4 million barrels per day of oil by 2030, more than the double of the current level. It’s also estimated the creation of another 400 thousand jobs and to raise in all spheres of the federation, more than 160 billion reais per year intended to increase the population’s well being.
