Holds a B.Sc., an M.Sc. and a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tulsa and Post-Doctoral work in the area of Erosion/Corrosion. NACE Fellow 2019 and NACE Chemical Treatment and Internal Corrosion Specialist. The author the book: Corrosion and Asset Integrity Management for Upstream Installations in the Oil/Gas Industry: The Journey of a Corrosion/Integrity Engineer – Real Life Experiences and more than 40 technical publications on internal corrosion on international conferences and referred journals. His 37 years of experience in the oil and gas industry worldwide have resulted in his becoming a subject matter expert on internal corrosion, erosion, chemical treatment, material selection, water treatment, oil treatment, and corrosion monitoring. Member of NACE Publications Committee. Actively participates in NACE technical committees; currently he is the vice-chair of NACE Wet Gas and Chair of NACE Multiphase ICDA. Member in NACE for 33 years and recipient of the 2013 NACE Distinguished Service Award.
