José Mauro Ferreira Coelho

He has graduated in Industrial Chemistry, with a Master Degree in Materials Engineering by the Military Engineering Institute (IME) and PhD in Energy Planning by the Energy Planning Program (PPE) of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). He has more than twenty-five years of experience, working in the oil, natural gas and biofuel sectors. Also, he has taught for several years in High level education courses; He has three published books; and over thirty reports and papers published in journals, specialized media and annals of national and international events. José Mauro was awarded the Correia Lima Medal by the Brazilian Army and Tiradentes Medal by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio de Janeiro.

José Luiz de França Freire

Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, PUC-Rio. Mechanical Engineer (PUC-Rio), MSc (PUC-Rio), PhD (Iowa State University). Research and teaching in: Structural Integrity, Pipeline Integrity, Fracture Mechanics, Experimental Stress Analysis and Fatigue.

Jorge Fernando Pereira Coelho

Electrical Engineer graduated from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 1980, worked in IEC – Instalações e Engenharia de Corrosão Ltd. from 1980 to 1989, he was Technical Director of FLAG Trading Ltd. and FCCatódica Ltd. from 1990 to 1998.
Joined BBPP – Bolivia-Brazil Pipeline Project in 1999, as corrosion coordinator, until the beginning of 2005. He was President of ABRACO – Brazilian Association of Corrosion in the period 2005/2006. At the end of 2005 joined ROSEN, as Branch Manager in Brazil. Joined TBG – Bolivia-Brasil Gas Pipeline at the end of 2006 and was assigned to PETROBRAS Engineering until 2016, where he held the position of Pipeline Construction Manager of the Cabiúnas-REDUC Gas Pipeline 38” and R&D coordinator, in which he received 3 Inventor Awards from Petrobras Research Center (CENPES) for patent filing at INPI – National Institute for Industrial Property. He currently works in the asset integrity area of TBG – Bolivia-Brasil Gas Pipeline S.A. as senior pipeline engineer.

Jorge Castañeda

Jorge Castañeda is a Professional Geologist graduated from National University of Colombia, M.Sc. in Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology from University of Tubingen (Germany) and specialization in Geological Risks Management from CERG, University of Geneva (Switzerland). Jorge has worked in several engineering consultant companies in Canada applying earth sciences into geotechnical projects in geologically active terrains in North America, South America, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean. His work experience includes geohazard and terrain mapping, landslide evaluation, geomorphological image-interpretation, geotechnical site investigation, and geotechnical and hydrogeological instrumentation, among others. Jorge is currently working with Stantec Consulting Ltd., based in Calgary, as a Senior Geologist and Geohazards specialist with the Geohazards and Geomorphology group led by Dr. Richard Guthrie.

Joe Paviglianiti

Mr. Paviglianiti is based in Calgary, Canada with over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with over 20 years at the National Energy Board (NEB). His responsibilities include incident investigation, auditing and reviewing integrity management programs and fitness for service assessments. Joe is the past chairman of the Canadian oil and gas standard CSA Z662 Technical Committee and still participates on these committees as a voting member. He also is the Canadian representative on the ISO TC67/SC 2 committee. Joe is actively involved in ASME and is a past Chairman of the Pipeline Systems Division (PSD) and is still a member of the ASME PSD extended executive committee.

Giovani Roberto de Almeida

Nowadays works as Contingency Management at Petrobras Transporte S.A., acting with oil and derivatives spill response and fire fighting. Responsible for emergency continued response throughout Brazil’s territory in all of the Company’s facilities. Also responsible for management standardization of the state of emergency preparedness.

Erik Barbosa Nunes

Graduated in Mechanical Engineer from the Federal University of Ceara – UFC (2007). He is currently studying for a Master at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – UFRJ (Corrosion). Erik has worked at PETROBRAS in the Onshore Pipeline Engineer Department, with emphasis on corrosion protection systems. Mains activities: project, technical assistance, teaching, research and development. Furthermore, he participates as a Technical Coordinator of the painting Commission and pipeline coatings WG of ABNT; Brazilian representative of ISO 21809 and NACE CIP 2 Certification.

André Chiarini

Founding Partner of Infra Partners Investments in Logistics, Chiarini has extensive experience in M&A in Logistics (USD4.8bi+ in deals) and 20+ years acting at the forefront of operations, planning, business development and corporate functions, in several countries. Prior to founding other 3 companies (two already divested), he was Logistics Planning and Development Director of Vale; Director of Electronics & FMCG of of TNT Logistics South America and Senior Associate of Booz & Co. Has been a member of the Board of Directors of four companies (railroad and 3PLs).
Chiarini holds a Chemical Engineer degree from UFRJ and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from COPPEAD/UFRJ, and has participated in extension programs with Thunderbird, University of Michigan Business School, MIT Sloan and IMD.

Flávio Marinho

Executive Manager of Technology and Innovation of SENAI CIMATEC. PhD in Modeling in Computing and Industrial Technologies at SENAI CIMATEC University Center, with the Institute of Technology of Massachusetts (MIT), Master in Business Administration, MBA in Marketing, graduated in Advertising. Father of two children and a convinced optimist. Today, it is aware of and interested in the role of innovation in the face of social and environmental change facing the world, and connects people, organizations and knowledge.

Rolf Pickert

Executive with more than 20 years of professional experience acquired at multinational companies (capital goods, oil & gas, steel industry and automotive). Solid knowledge in technical areas, importation, supply chain, strategy, international business, technical sales, business development, start-ups and general management. Consolidated experience in management of multicultural teams.
