Sérgio commenced his career as a graduate chemical engineer with Dupont in 1978. In 1985, he joined Lubrizol and, since then, he progressed through a diverse range of roles including technical and managing functions as well as corporative leadership in different areas as: engineering, transport, supply, marketing, planning and importing, considering the Petroleum Fuel Market and Alternative Fuels.
