The Renewables and Biofuels Arena is one of the main new features of ROG.e 2024. This parallel event will be held from September 23 to 26, starting at 2 p.m., and is part of the transformation strategy of Rio Oil and Gas, the largest energy event in Latin America. The space will explore the evolution of energy production and consumption, connecting all types of sources, in a Journey of Transformation Towards the Future, leaving no one behind.

The space will address issues such as investment, regulatory framework, market development, production, innovation and technology in renewable energies, including wind, biogas, biomass, and hydrogen, within a fair energy transition context.

Renowned government, academia and private sector representatives will participate in the arena. The opening ceremony will be attended by the main energy sector associations in Brazil: ABEEÓLIA, ABH2, ABIOGÁS, ABIOVE, ABSOLAR and UNICA.

Among those confirmed are big names in the sector, such as Carla Primavera (Superintendent of Energy Transition and Climate at the BNDES), Fernanda Scoponi (Business Development Manager for Renewables at TOTALENERGIES), Evandro Gussi (CEO of UNICA) and Thiago Prado (President of EPE).
