Anti-corruption law and compliance will be the core subjects of a new training course organized by the Brazilian Institute for Oil, Gas and Biofuels (IBP). Registration is now open for the Energy Industry Compliance and Anti-corruption Training Course, which will run from 22 September to 29 October, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. The program will consist of 12 lectures at IBP headquarters in downtown Rio de Janeiro.

The training course will be coordinated by Rafael Mendes Gomes, a partner and compliance and anti-corruption specialist at Chediak Advogados. Other lecturers who will be teaching the course include compliance specialists Cynthia Catlett from FTI Consulting, Fernando Salvador from Brookfield and Maurício Bove from IBP.

Courses will include case studies, practical activities and theory, providing participants with an in-depth knowledge of Act 12846/2013 (the “Clean Company Act”) and its derivative regulations.

Registration includes electronic course materials, which will be provided in advance through IBP’s virtual office, as well a course attendance certificate. Places are limited and registration is open until 21 September.
