The Brazilian Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels Institute (IBP) has just released its schedule of courses and events for 2018. The agenda presents the Institute’s activities concerning segments of the oil and gas industry.

Among the topics for the next year, there can be found exploration and production; legislation, regulation and taxation; management; security, environment and health (SMS); equipment and maintenance; and natural gas. In the first semester, plans include courses on “Unitization” (March), “Anticorruption Compliance Training for the Energy Sector” (April) – a theme that will be one of IBP’s pillars in 2018 -, “Economic viability of oil and natural gas production projects” (May), “Brazilian local content policy” (June) and “Crisis management, risks and business continuity” (June).

In the second semester, other relevant topics will be on IBP’s agenda. In July, classes will be offered on “Responses to emergencies in the E&P activity” and “Natural gas processing”, and the course “Taxation in the natural gas business” (June) is planned for September.
