Complaints and Appeals

All SPIE Applicants, Certified SPIEs and other parties involved in the Certification process can submit appeals or complaints regarding the scope of Certification, according to the following criteria:

Complaints: expression to the OCP/IBP of any dissatisfaction regarding the activities of the Body, which can be made anonymously.

Complaints relating to OCP/IBP employees can be made directly to the IBP Ethics Channel (https://canaldeeticaibp.legaletica.com.br/).

Appeals: a request made by a Certified SPIE for the OCP/IBP to reconsider a decision regarding the certification process;

Complaints or Appeals must be made by completing Form FM-SPIE-13 – Appeals and Complaints, in accordance with the requirements of Procedure PR-SPIE-12 Handling Appeals and Complaints. Once completed, Form FM-SPIE-13 must be sent to OCP/IBP at the following e-mail address certificacaospie@ibp.org.br
